Minister of Finance Al Emadi spotted at the inauguration of The Conrad Washington DC


His Excellency Ali Shareef Al Emadi, Qatar’s Minister of Finance was seen at the inauguration of The Conrad Washington DC— a project of Qatari Diar in Washington.  Besides the minister, the Chairman of Qatari Diar, Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani; CEO of Qatari Diar, Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah; Qatar’s Ambassador to the US, H E Sheikh Meshaal bin Hamad Al Thani; Mayor of Washington, Muriel Bowser, and several prominent figures in the US were also spotted at the inauguration ceremony. The venture is part of the international expansion of the Qatari group, which has crossed more than 24 nations. It has been carried out in collaboration with Hines Interests Limited Partnership. Together they built the 370-room luxury hotel which also has 62,000 square feet of large-format retail space, at CityCenterDC, the 10-acre, landmark, mixed-use development located in the heart of the capital of the nation. It was also reported that the Conrad Washington DC hotel will be the newest property in the Conrad Hotels & Resorts luxury brand portfolio owned by Hilton Worldwide. The hotel’s strategic location is a 14-minute drive away from Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport. If you are at Dulles International Airport, it is nearly 40 minutes away. It is nearly 47 minutes from Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and approximately 9 minutes from Union Station. The President of Qatari Diar praised the completion of the project and appreciated the efforts of the company’s strategic partner and all project employees. According to the CEO of Qatari Diar, the new campaign of the company aims at increasing the construction phase of all its projects under development. He added that the successes of the organization were all the result of continued work on the execution of the plan to achieve maximum return on real estate investment in the world.
