Qatari Diar Opens The Conrad Hotel and Inaugurated by Ali Shareef Al Emadi
Qatar’s Finance Minister Ali Shareef Al Emadi attended the inauguration of The Conrad Washington DC. It is strategically placed 14 minutes away from Ronald Reagan International Airport. From Dulles International Airport it is approximately 40 minutes away. If you are in Baltimore or Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport it around 47 minutes and it will take you 9 minutes from Union Station.
This is the latest Qatari Diar venture in Washington, D.C. The hotel is also the newest asset in the Conrad Hotels & Resorts portfolio of luxury brands owned by Hilton Worldwide. The new project also forms part of the global expansion of the Qatari Group, which has crossed more than 24 nations. It was worked out as part of a joint venture with Hines Interests Limited Partnership. They planned together to build a 370-room luxury hotel with 62,000 square feet of large retail space in CityCenterDC, a 10-acre, landmark, mixed-use development in the heart of the nation’s capital.
According to the CEO of Qatari Diar, the new campaign of the company is focused on speeding the construction process of all its projects under progress. He complimented the success of the project. He recognized the contributions of the company’s main collaborator and all the project workers. He also added that the accomplishments of the company were all the result of continued work on the execution of the plan to achieve the maximum return on real estate investment worldwide.
During the inauguration ceremony, the President of the Qatari Diar, Sheik Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani; CEO of the Qatari Diar, Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah; H.E. Sheik Meshaal bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatari Ambassador to the United States; Muriel Bowser, Mayor of Washington, and a number of prominent figures in the United States were all present.
